Increase your download 20%.

Do you know if Windows XP uses 20% of your bandwidth? By default Windows XP reserve your bandwidth by 20%, so that mean you only have 80% of your bandwidth. If 80% is not big enough for you, you can follow these steps to override the default setting.
  1. Click Start > Run, then type “gpedit.msc”. This will open Group Policy window.
  2. Click Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Network > QOS Packet Scheduler.
  3. Double click Limit reservable bandwidth on the right side of Group Policy window. This will popup Limit reservable bandwidth Properties window. It will say it is not configured, but the truth is under the Explain tab.
  4. So the trick is to enable reservable bandwidth (choose Enable radio button), then set it to ZERO. This will allow the system to reserve nothing, rather than the default 20%. After that click Apply button, and Ok button.

Reactivate .DLL file.

After installing a new software or application, sometimes we got an error message that tells us about missing .dll file. As long as we still have that missing file, we can reactivate that file. Click Start > Run and type “ regsvr32(space)(name_dll)” > Ok.
